About Pedro Mello

Engineering leadership grounded in systems work.

I’m Pedro Renato Mello, professionally known as Pedro Mello. I lead software teams and build reliable agent systems for companies that need control over their data, models and operations.

My work connects product thinking, technical direction and operational discipline — especially where financial rules, privacy and infrastructure ownership matter.

Current focus

Private agents on sovereign infrastructure.

I approach Agent Engineering as software engineering: explicit tools, measurable evaluations, observability, human checkpoints and dependable deployment practices.

For private companies, that also means portable models, controlled data paths and the ability to operate without being locked into a single platform vendor.

Selected experience

Proof built under real constraints.

Financial systems make architecture decisions visible: security, compliance, multiple stakeholders and production reliability cannot be postponed.

Led the development of infrastructure connecting cryptocurrency payments, fiat settlement, collateral systems and automated stakeholder splits.

02

Private capital infrastructure

Built asset-management and distribution software for financial products in a private capital marketplace.

03

Selected to present a marketplace solution after helping turn its underlying architecture into a working product.

04

Manifold Powered

Created and lead an open-source infrastructure project for independent game distribution.

How I work

Clarity before complexity.

I deconstruct ambiguous problems into constraints, decisions and testable steps. The constraint chooses the technology, and product value guides where engineering effort belongs.

I’m based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and available for engineering leadership and agent-system work worldwide.
